Business Overview

  • Client is a start-up aiming to record vehicle operation information, collected by digital tachograph on the blockchain, then analyses data for management of track operation plus amount of exhaust gas will be public.
  • Build platform which allow
    • Collect data on the Blockchain, analyzing and presenting it to operation manager
    • Collect the CO2 emission and share to public

Challenges

  • Cloud-based application accessible via desktop, tablet & mobile
  • Build IoT Hub from scratch & open-source only, no commercial products like Azure IoT Hub
  • High availability: 99.99% uptime. New features should be deployed without affect to the whole system
  • Manage & analyze IoT device integration with real-time and unstructured data
  • Huge amount of IoT devices & data to be ingested (300,000 digital tachographs, sending data every 5 minutes)
